Robert Barker in the #8 Brandon Bendele in the #81 Chris Davidson in the #41 Greg Davidson in the #96 Tommy Grimes in the #22 John Heil in the #30 That is not a typo. SAS LM Champion Robert Barker will be driving the blue Brandon Bendele SLM in a "one race deal" with car owner Frankie Gabrysch. Brandon was quickest, but the rest were not far behind. Greg Davidson struggled a bit - even looped it in turn four once - until he discovered that the RR inner wheel bearing gone south on him. Robert looked good right off the bat and steadily decreased his lap times as he grew more accustomed to the car. Larry Bendele was an interested spectator and informed me that he will likely be running the SLM he purchased earlier in the year in the USRA SLM series next season. Also learned from Terry Dickerson that there will be a "drifting" exhibition during OktoberFAST. Details to follow in the next couple of days.
