I am posting all three class rules here. Debbie Williams is updating the SAS website as well. Late Model Rules for 2005 OktoberFAST Minimum weight 3100 pounds before race Maximum 56% left side weight will be allowed for a 107 inch wheelbase car Maximum 55% left side weight will be allowed for a 105 (or less than 107) inch wheelbase car. Minimum wheelbase will be 105 inches No other weight penalties will apply unless determined by Race Officials for unusual circumstances. NOTE: Special Intake Rule for SAS cars: Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold (Part Number 2101) is required for GM products and Ford Performer Intake manifold (Part Number M-9424-C358) is required for all Ford products. The use of any other intake manifold will result in a 50 pound weight penalty. All other SAS NASCAR Late Model Technical rules apply for declared SAS cars. All other TSRS Late Model Technical rules apply for declared TSRS cars. No Hybrids - No hybrids or mixing of the SAS and TSRS rules. Teams must declare under what rules they are running and must comply completely with those rules unless the exceptions listed above apply. Official Rulings - Decisions and rules interpretations by Race Officials are final. No equipment should be considered as approved if not detected in technical inspections. The holes in the spacer must be the same dimensions from top to bottom of opening (no tapered hole spacers.) Option 2 - Must follow all 2005 SAS Sportsman rules with the following exceptions: Total weight after race will be a minimum of 3200 pounds Maximum 55% left side weight and minimum 1440 pounds right side weight Rear ends may be locked No ride height rule 4412 Holley (500cfm) will be allowed Hoosier 970 8.0/27.0-15 or 970 8.0/26.5-15 must be used with Option 2 Thunder Hill Raceway Street Stock Cars Must follow all 2005 THR Street Stock rules with the following exceptions: Total weight after race will be a minimum of 3200 pounds Maximum 55% left side weight and minimum 1440 pounds right side weight No rear percentage rule Rear ends may be locked No ride height rule Corpus Christi Motor Speedway Super Street Cars Must follow all 2005 CCMS Super Street rules with the following exceptions: Total weight after race will be a minimum of 3250 pounds Maximum 55% left side weight and minimum 1462 pounds right side weight Hoosier 970 8.0/27.0-15 or 970 8.0/26.5-15 must be used No Hybrids - Note: All teams must declare what track rules they are running and must comply with those rules and the exceptions and options listed above. Thunder Hill Raceway Hobby Stock Cars Must follow all 2005 THR Hobby Stock rules with the following exceptions: Total weight after race will be a minimum of 3450 pounds Maximum 55% left side weight and minimum 1552 pounds right side weight Corpus Christi Motor Speedway Pure Stock Cars Option 1 - Must follow all 2005 CCMS Pure Stock rules with no exceptions Option 2 - Must follow all 2005 CCMS Pure Stock rules with the following exceptions: Total weight after race will be a minimum of 3375 pounds Maximum 55% left side weight and minimum 1552 pounds right side weight The Hoosier 790 (7-inch) tire is permitted as long as the Holley 4412 carburetor is used. 4412 Holley (500cfm) is optional but must be run with a carburetor spacer of not more than 1.250-inch in height, including gaskets. The holes in the spacer must be the same dimensions from top to bottom of opening (no tapered hole spacers.)
