Lugnuthead
Does anyone know the lenght of the straights and the radius of the turns at SAS? Maybe a guess at what degree of bank the racing line runs in? I walked that track once, and I know any numbers given will just have to be a close guess... I'm one of those techie kinds that like to have all the info I can get my hands on. Thanks in advance Lugnuthead.
5StarRacing
I use to have the measurements.. if i can dig them out, I will post them for you. I believe the turns are at 19 degee of banking.
NickHolt
Cindy, Back when Joe Horne had the track, I diagramed the whole track layout -- the radius of the turns, the bank at 25-foot intervals, inside length, middle of track length, outside of track length, track width at 25-foot intervals and relative elevations using a pop level. I'm pretty sure it was in the stuff Scott Holland had in his possession when he lost the track back to you guys -- unless Scott tossed it. I also remember seeing a black and white copy of the original blueprints at one time or other in the stuff Scott had. Nick
