This Friday night, the IMCA Modifieds will compete for the first time ever in a “Modified King-of-the Hill” event on July 15 at the Pleasanton dirt track Track Manager Frank Torres said, “We have had “King-of-the Hill” involving other classes at I-37 Speedway, but this Friday night will be a first for the Mods. The July 15th racing program will also feature: The IMCA Modifieds… IMCA Southern Sports Modifieds … Limited Late Models… Street Stocks… Pure Stocks… in addition to “Modified King-of-the Hill” The IMCA Modifieds will again be competing for 2005 IMCA National Points. Heat and Feature Races will be held for all classifications competing on July 15. Gates open at 4pm. The racing program will take the green flag Friday at 8:30pm. I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take Interstate 37 to exit #104 (Leal Road) then proceed south on the east frontage road to I-37 Speedway.
