Five Classes plus “Train Races” at I-37 On July 8th

 

Pleasanton, Texas -

 

By popular demand, I-37 Speedway fans will be treated to the return of a novelty event this Friday night. “Train Races” will be presented on the July 8 program schedule at the Pleasanton dirt track for the second time this season.

 

Track Promoter Joe Horne said, “We received a good fan input. They want to see stock cars hooked together by chains trying to race around our I-37 dirt oval. We

will again present Train Races at I-37 Speedway this Friday night”.

 

The July 8th racing program will also feature:

The IMCA Modifieds…

Texas Outlaw Modifieds …

Limited Late Models…

Street Stocks...

Pure Stocks…

in addition to “Train Races”

 

The IMCA Modifieds will again be competing for 2005 IMCA National Points.

 

Heat and Feature Races will be held for all classifications competing on July 8.

 

Gates open at 4pm. The racing program will take the green flag Friday at 8:30pm.

 

I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange.

 

Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take Interstate 37 to exit #104 (Leal Road) then proceed south on the east frontage road to I-37 Speedway. Adult Grandstand - $ 10

Seniors 65 and older - $ 8

Competitors Pit Passes - $ 25

Children 7 to 11 years - $ 3

Children 6 and under - FREE
