TPS Race Bulletin EVENT: RACE # 6 OF THE 2005 TEXAS PRO SEDAN SERIES SPONSORS: Hoosier Racing Tires, Lalo’s Auto Service, Buggy Warehouse-San Antonio,Travelodge Airport, All Out Motorsports- CC, AutoZone in Parkdale Plaza July 9 - Race Schedule 2:00pm - Pit Opens - Sign in at TPS window only, TPS trailers in assigned slots 3:15pm - TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance results in feature rear penalty) 4:30pm - Practice – Approximately 3 - 10 minute TPS sessions (practice is mandatory) 7:15pm - TPS QUALIFYING TRIALS – 2 laps – Qual line Inverted by order of entry 8:00pm - TPS Last Chance Qual race – 10 or 15 laps - determines positions 15-18 9:00pm - TEXAS PRO SEDAN FEATURE- 25 Laps - Grid limit 18 cars - Heads up start Grid Notes Pos 1-12>fast times, Pos 13-16>LC race, Pos 17-18>TPS prior points IF RACE IS POSTPONED – July 16, 2005 Time schedules same as above. For pre-race information call TPS 210/655–3222. For race-day information call Neil at Corpus Christi TPS cell # 210/365-3221. ENTRY FEE - $ 50 per car if paid week in advance by mail/check & completed entry form. NOTE: Entry fee refunded until car passes thru pit gate on race day. $ 60 - per car if paid late at track in pits (late $ 10 deposited into TPS Treasury). TPS PIT PASS FEE - $25 per TPS person at TPS Pit Gate Window. Note: TPS Drivers & Crews must register & purchase pit pass at the Touring Series Pit window and prove possession of correct TPS pit pass while in CCMS pits. GRANDSTAND-$9 per person adult, $7-seniors 55 years & older, Kids12 & under - FREE SPECIFICATIONS - TEXAS PRO SEDAN - 2005 Rules (All drivers must receive scanner 154.570 MHz or start at rear). INVITED CARS - CCMS & Texas Minis accepted provided in compliance with their 2005 Mini Stock rules with the following upgrade optional exceptions: May use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires May Use: After-market suspension parts May Use: Locked drive wheels. (Note: These exceptions are subject to post race change(s). MEMBERSHIP - All drivers required to hold valid 2005 - $60 TPS membership to drive on track. (One race dues are $20) PURSE - CCMS pays back 80% of TPS pit proceeds and 2% of Spectator Gate proceeds. Payment of TPS Officials made from appropriate entry fee deduction. Remaining Entry Fee money, funds received from CCMS & Sponsor money make the Purse. Total estimated purse is $3,400. Note: Checks and results mailed week after this race. TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race winner will be presented by CCMS DRIVER POINTS - TPS Points awarded per 2005 TPS Rules ie: (3 points for breaking TPS at CCMS track record 15.560) INSURANCE (Limits tentative) - K & K Racing Insurance provided by CCMS. Limits: $1,000,000 spectator liability, $10,000 excess medical/hospital, $5,000 accidental death/dismemberment. Injury must be reported race night to the track manager. All claims must be coordinated with C.C. Motor Speedway manager at 361/533-1473. TPS TIRE VENDOR Bartell Racing thru Lalo Leal will sell & service TPS tires at CCMS. To pre-order, call 361/438-6025. TRACK VENDOR Sunoco standard 110 octane racing gas sold at CCMS. (Note: No gas may be brought in except in fuel cell) TEXAS PRO SEDAN ENTRY FORM List Your C.C.
