Benefit for Steve Osborne

Recommended Posts

Thunder Hill Raceway is holding a benefit for a Hobby Stock driver who had a devastating accident at work two weeks ago.

Steve Osborne, of Elgin, got entangled with electric wires and had to have both his arms amputated. The father of four children, ages 3-14 years old, has stated he still intends to race again.

The benefit will be held at Thunder Hill Raceway, IH35, Exit 210, in Kyle, on Friday, June 17, starting at 7 p.m. There will be BBQ plates for sale, live music, and an auction. Admission to the benefit is free and the public is invited to attend.

Anyone willing to donate items for the auction can call 393-9471.

A bank account has been opened for the Osborne family at: First National Bank, 1312 E. Hwy 290, Elgin, TX, 78621. The account number is: Osborne Family Benefit Account, #0766535.
