Austin Wayne Self Pre-Race Quotes:

On Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of my better intermediate tracks. I’ve always seemed to have had good luck in Las Vegas without really having to gamble, ha.  Ryan has done a great job over the last couple of months of bringing really fast No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverados to the track where despite practice, we’ve been able to be very consistent and right there on the cusp of fighting for top-10 finishes week in and week out. We are going to roll the dice this weekend tough. We are bringing a truck that we haven’t raced since Pocono, but we have completely overhauled it. If it works, it’s a direction we will take for next season.”

On 2021 Season: “It’s hard to believe that the year is starting to wrap up. We only have four races left on the schedule and I definitely want to make the best of all of them.  There are some good tracks left for our AM Racing over the next six weeks or so and I think there is definitely an opportunity to score more top-10s and hopefully even a top-five before we close the books on the 2021 season at Phoenix in November.”
