Don't miss the races at San Antonio Speedway to watch the CTS race! We've hooked up satellite, courtesy of Hill Country Satellite. Also, Aaron's Sales & Lease has provided a big screen TV to watch the race under the grandstands. I think it's too cool . . . live racing action on the track and on TV. And after the race, catch the Spurs playoff game. There's no reason to stay home! Thanks, Terry B & Terry D for setting up the broadcast for us.

CTS drivers will have a couple of hours to practice this morning, and qualifying will begin at 3:30P. Driver introductions will take place at 7P, followed by the race start time of 7:15P.

Lori . . . wishing the Starr team luck today too. Didn't David win at Gateway in July of 2004?

30 trucks have a guaranteed spot to make the race. That means 11 trucks are fighting for 6 spots.

He is 4 tenths off of the guy who would get the last spot in the field. Hopefully they can pick it up.

DebWill..

Yes, David won the race in 2004...Here's a little clip from that HISTORIC win for David...

David Starr became only the second driver in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series history to win by leading only the final lap, bumping his way to victory Saturday night in the Dodge Ram Tough 200.

Starr, driving a Chevrolet, nudged his way past Chad Chaffin in Gateway International Raceway's first turn and beat Dennis Setzer to the checkered flag by 0.444 seconds -- about two truck lengths. The race was scheduled for 160 laps, but was extended by caution a record four times for 14 laps.
