South Texas Speedway Posted May 30, 2017 Report Share Posted May 30, 2017 What a emotional weekend. Friday night we enjoyed some good racing and had some new winners. Saturday was a emotional roller coaster. The news we lost a member of our STS team unexpectedly overnight was a shock. It put the day in perspective for me. I believe above all else this weekend all of the Drivers, Crew and employees at STS honored those that have fallen to protect our freedom. The veterans that were in attendance I hope were satisfied in how we honored there brothers. I hope the families of those lost can see the purpose in there love ones loss. I appreciate the support from everyone. I thank all of the drivers for supporting our STS family. We will be thinking and praying for the Thomas family.
