ups88john Posted May 25, 2003 Report Share Posted May 25, 2003 John Paul Kliewer drove a excellent race for his first win of the year and first win at THR. The truck was good all day, set fast time of 16.69, won the heat race and won the feature from the third starting position. The track was greasy early on in practice, making the truck a little loose, but as it cooled off the track came to us. With a little help from lady luck we were able to pass the 66 on about lap 30 or so. It was a good nite of racing and good driving. I would like to thank Glenn Grasty, Adam Moore and Karl Smith for the help this weekend. We also brought out the TSRS car for a practice run, but spent most of the time fixing what was supposedly already taken care of. Made one practice session, the heat and the feature. The car got better, but still needs alot of work. Mclemore had his car out and ran a strong second in the llm and the truck race. Big John Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
