(Two day Pit Pass Fri & Sat - $50)SATURDAY October 22 - Pit Gate Opens at 9:30AM. TPS pits outside pit area, South end, NO electrical plugs. TPS participants (crew & family) must sign correct TPS sheet & wear correct wrist band. Pit fire extinguisher required at each trailer).11:10am (FIRM) - TPS Practice times: 11:10am-11:20am and 12:50pm-1:00pm (Note: Practice, qualifying, race day times may change)(Note: Practice, qualifying, race day times may change)2:00pm (FIRM) - TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance, no practice receive rear race grid penalty) During the meeting, a $20 one time dues discount will be offered for the 2017 season per TPS Rules, if driver O.K.'s an $80 purse "roll over" at the meeting. Missing drivers meeting starts featurerace scratch.7:30pm (approx) -TPS FEATURE - 25 Laps - Starts heads up by fastest time, then 2016 points thru Sept 10 for cars with no qual time. Note: If qualifying time trials are not held or completed, the race grid will be formed heads up by point standings thru Sept 10).IF POSTPONED October 29 - Per CTS published statement, the Rain Date for TPS Race #7 is Saturday, October 29. TPS Drivers must receive scanner @461.700 MHzall times on track. Note: As per CTS policy, any TPS driver failing to follow TPS orders issued by scanner will be black flagged.TPS Rules Change #1: Para 3 H, page 4, The 2500 engine cc limit is increased to 2,543cc.Per para 26 RULE CHANGE: The gate bonus point was changed to "1 bonus point to driver posting an official qualifying lap time".RULES R&D - TPS Carburetor rule is amended to allow Holley 0-4412CT as an R&D project until further notice.REFUNDS: Only race entry fees are refundable. TPS annual or one race dues and track pit pass costs are not refundable.TRANSPONDER - TPS cars must have an AMB Transponder on at all times on track, which is required to be timedand/or scored. (2 transponders available FOR RENT @ $50. Reservation is required. (Invited car upgrades OK: CTS & CCS cars may use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires or DOT tires, mayuse OEM Fuel Injection, after-market suspension parts and lock drive wheels. May not have external nerf bars, must use rear view mirror.MEMBERSHIP - All drivers are required to hold valid 2016 Texas Pro Sedans membership to drive on track. Onerace TPS memberships are available for $30. (Car number priority entitled to full season TPS $100 members.PURSE - All sponosor, CTS money and most of entry fees go into purse. TPS Officials paid from appropriate entry fee deduction. September 10th Feature Race pay off by TPS check at CTS during Oct 22 Driver's Meeting. The October 22nd purse is dependent upon 15 or more TPS cars starting the 25 lap Feature Race. If less than15 starters, a calculated reduction will be made based available funds, sponsors and entry fees available toTPS.
