I-37 Speedway Points Season Starts Friday April 1

 

Pleasanton, Texas -

 

The I-37 Speedway Championship Points season starts Friday, April 1 at 8:30 pm.

 

The April 1st racing program will feature:

 

IMCA Modifieds…

IMCA Southern Sports Modifieds…

Limited Late Models…

Street Stocks…

Pure Stocks

 

The IMCA Modified Class will be competing for 2005 IMCA National Points, all other classes for I-37 Points. Heat and Feature Races will be held for each class.

 

Gates will open at 4pm. The racing program will begin on April 1 at 8:30pm and continue each Friday night throughout the 2005 racing season which is scheduled to be completed on Friday, September 2, 2005.

 

Track Promoter Joe Horne said, “With the success we had with I-37 Speedway’s regular season last year, I am pleased to announce our second I-37 points season. I definitely expect many dirt racers from all across Texas will participate in the races at I-37 Speedway this Friday night”.

 

I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange.

 

Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take Interstate 37 to exit #104 (Leal Road) then proceed south on the east frontage road to I-37 Speedway. I-37 Speedway Ticket Prices:

Adult Grandstand - $ 10

Seniors 65 and older - $ 7

Competitors Pit Passes - $ 25

Children 7 to 11 years - $ 3

Children 6 and under - FREE
