Motor Speedway, Corpus Christi, Texas SPONSORS: Lalo’s Auto Service, Travelodge Airport, Affordable Grading Service, Guerra's Lawn Service & Home Repair, Hoosier Racing Tires April 9 Schedule: 3:00pm-Pit open, buy pit passes at TPS window only, trailers in assigned slots TPS participants must sign correct TPS clip board and wear correct wrist band. 3:30pm-TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance results in feature rear penalty) 4:00pm-Practice-Approximately 3 TPS sessions (practice is mandatory) 6:30pm-TPS QUALIFYING TRIALS – 2 laps – Line Inverted by order of entry Note: If Time Trials not held or completed grid set by order of entry 7:30pm-TPS Last Chance Qual race - 10 laps- determines positions 13-16 8:30pm-TEXAS PRO SEDAN FEATURE-25 Laps-Grid limit 18 cars- Heads up Grid Notes P 1-12>fast times, P 13-16>LC race, P 17-18> hi in 2004 TPS points IF POSTPONED – TBA (April 23, 2005) - Time schedules same as above. For race-day information call Neil TPS cell#210/365-3221 ENTRY FEE - $ 50 per car if paid week in advance by mail/check & completed entry form. NOTE: Entry fee refunded (less $ 10) until car passes thru the Pit Gate LATE ENTRY FEE - $ 60 per car if paid late at track in pits TPS PIT PASS FEE - $25 per TPS person at TPS Pit Gate Window. (Minors any age allowed at full pit pass price) Note: TPS Drivers & Crews must register & purchase pit pass at the Touring Series Pit window and prove possession of correct TPS pit pass while in CC pits. SPECIFICATIONS - TEXAS PRO SEDAN - 2005 Rules (All drivers must receive scanner 154.570 MHz or start at rear) (CCMS safety policy – “All seat belts dated 1999 and older will be disallowed on track”). INVITED CARS - CCMS & approved SCCA IT cars accepted provided in compliance with their 2005 rules with the following upgrade optional exceptions. May use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires, after-market suspension parts, lock drive wheels. (Note: These exceptions are subject to post race change(s). MEMBERSHIP - All drivers required to hold valid 2005 - $60 TPS membership to drive on track. (One race dues are $20) SPONSORS - TPS Sponsors receive 6 grandstand tickets for each $100 sponsorship. CC Motor Speedway agreed for TPS to solicit sponsors to help add funding to TPS purse. Sponsors get PA commercials and tickets. PURSE - CCMS pays TPS 80% of TPS pit proceeds and 2% of Spectator Gate income. Payment of TPS Officials made from appropriate entry fee deduction. Remaining Entry Fee money, funds received from CCMS & Sponsor money make the Purse. Results email/FAX to all. Winner’s checks in US Mail by Tuesday. TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race winner will be presented by CCMS DRIVER POINTS - TPS Points awarded per 2005 TPS Rules ie: (3 points for breaking TPS at CCMS track record 15.560) INSURANCE - Commercial Risk Group Inc provided by CCMS. Limits: $1,000,000 spectator liability, $10,000 excess medical/hospital, $10,000 accidental death/dismemberment. Injury must be reported race night to the track manager. All claims must be coordinated with C.C. Motor Speedway manager at 361/533-1473. TPS TIRE VENDOR - Bartell Motor Sports will sell & service TPS tires at CCMS. To pre-order, call Bartell @ 800/803-9273. TRACK VENDORS - Sunoco standard 110 octane racing gas sold at CCMS - $ 5 per gal.
