Last we heard, American Tire was going to evaluate the tire that failed during the recent tire test. How did that evaluation turn out? He told me that Day is bringing in some new American Racer tires to race with that were used by the Busch North series at Loudon New Hampshire. A couple of drivers have already tested the new tires at TMS earlier this week and the results looked good, he said. I did a little searching and it looks like Busch North last ran the American Racer tires in 2001. He also said that the tire dealers should have the new tires in for sale by the end of this week or beginning of next week.
