ABOUT THE DRIVERS

Joe finished first in points among rookie drivers and received the prestigious Sportsmanship Award. In January 2003, team owner John Aramendia purchased several Busch Grand National cars from AJ Foyt Racing and Joe Aramendia began his latest move up the racing ladder. Joe has run three Busch Series races, finishing 20th in his last outing, the O’Reilly 300 at the Texas Motor Speedway. Born on April 23, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to James and Carol Aramendia, Joe resides in Seguin, Texas with wife Carolyn. He has two children: daughters Joeylynn and Carol.

BRH50,

Don't forget that at Joe's level publicity is part of the equation. Trey has tons of media contacts that can make a difference down the road for Arramendia Racing. Besides that, Trey is not a bad shoe. He just doesn't have as many laps as his older brother, Ricci Jr.

Nick,

Just wanted to take a minute to thank you. Your comments always reflect a love of racing and tremendous support for the drivers. You are right on target with your comments about Trey -- he is an asset to the team in many ways but we'll let his driving do the talking at TMS.

There are a number of excellent drivers in South Texas, any of whom make for good sponsorship opportunities. For this race, we have three drivers whose abilities complement each other nicely.

Enjoy the ride!
