NickHolt Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 We had a GREAT weekend at the 2005 IHRA PM-1 Junior National Event! With over 100 juniors competing, we were kept hopping all weekend! We had racers from all over Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, but definately the "Long Distance Award" would have to go to the Brandon Brady family from Edmonton Canada! The only compliant I heard all weekend was immensely disappointed kiddos when we couldn't run our "Parent's Race" and our famous "Skooter Challenge" due to the massive lightening on Saturday night forcing us to shut down early. However, Sunday came with beautiful weather and many, many tight races! We had some of the prettiest (wildest?) paint jobs on those Juniors! Be sure to check out some of the pictures on our website as well as the IHRA website! The RPC 2005 Bullit Race for Dragster was CLOSE and came down to the wire!! We were excited to welcome several NHRA racers to our event and hope they enjoyed themselves. As special 'thank you' to the parents for making the long haul and raising such great kids -we didn't have a single problem! How many times can you get that many kiddos together and be able to say that? Every last one of them were appreciative, thankful and polite.
