debwill Posted May 22, 2003 Report Share Posted May 22, 2003 I've heard some confusion about the races at SAS on June 7. Two track officials have personally confirmed to me that none of the local classes will be racing on Saturday, June 7. The normal weekly races were initially scheduled on that date, and then the Mexican truck series were slotted in to replace the usual program. But I understand now that no races at all will take place. If I'm incorrect, I'd appreciate a reply (or a confirmation) from Mike or someone from the SAS staff. Some complications came up with the import laws with the Mexico Truck Series. So, he decided with the big event @ TMS that same weekend, everyone could use the weekend off.
