THINGS DISCUSSED-

 

Car Show – Debbie Williams

WALMART Saturday March 19 from 10 a.m - 12p.m. (CORRECTION ON THE TIME)

 

Also discussed was the LACK of Media Coverage in motor sports in San Antonio. It was decided the members would start a "Who was the WINNER Saturday night at SAS Campaign?” We are going to call, write or email the local media. We will also be providing the fans with the media contact information, so they can get involved.

 

Proposal for FASCAR Team of the Month/Year– Cindy Oates - Members voted and this Award will be in place for 2005 season. Goodie Bangs and Plaque will be given to Monthly Winners & Yearly winners will receive a monetary prize.

Team of the Month /Year

 

 

1.To be eligible the team’s Driver or Crew Chief, herein after called the “Team”, must be a current FASCAR member.

 

2.The “Team” must be represented* at least 2 events including one FASCAR meeting within 2 months prior to being nominated.

 

3.Any current FASCAR member can nominate any “Team”.

a.When nominating a “Team” the following should be taken into consideration but not limited to.

i.Participating in FASCAR events

1.Monthly membership meetings – Active participation

2.Car shows

3.Promotions of auto racing

ii.Participating in Track or Series events

iii.Participating in community events

iv.“Team” conduct on or off the track

 

4.The “Team” can be from any Track or Series in Texas.

 

5.One “Team” will be recognized as the “FASCAR Team of

the Month”

 

6.Teams that are eligible for “FASCAR Team of the Year” will be the monthly winning “Teams”.

 

7.The “FASCAR Team of the Year” will be voting by all FASCAR members in the December/January general meeting.

 

 

*Representation meaning at least one team member listed on the teams or driver’s membership form must be presented and must sign in appropriately.
