MUmscheid 51 Posted September 20, 2015 Report Share Posted September 20, 2015 Riethmeyer changes motor, wins Glass City 200 from http://www.arcaracing.comTOLEDO, Ohio (Sept. 20, 2015) - Brad Riethmeyer almost didnt get to race in Saturdays Great Lakes Helicopter Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway. He did, however, and made the most of it winning the prestigious event."We blew a motor in practice Friday and took it back to the shop," Riethmeyer said. "We finished it up about 5 in the morning and brought it back. It took two hours to get back to Toledo, but it was worth it," he said in victory lane. "It was kind of a battle of attrition, said the Texas native. But, the best cars showed up here tonight. It feels really good to win this race, to beat guys like (Terry) Senneker and Johnny (Belott). Jeff Ganus has been fast all year. This feels really good."He took the lead on lap 187 following a re-start after a caution.Riethmeyer is a veteran race car driver who has made starts in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He was fifth in the Glass City race last year.Dakota Carlson was second, Johnny Belott III was third, Nick Bailey fourth and Billy Roberts fifth. The defending winner, J.R. Roahrig was seventh.The race included seven red flags and several yellow flags. Just four cars finished on the lead lap.The 27th running of the Great Lakes Helicopter Glass City 200 was the final event of the season at Toledo Speedway.
