Officials, drivers, team owners and fans from San Antonio Speedway, (SAS), Fans Associated with Stock Car Auto Racing (FASCAR), Thunder Hill Raceway (THR), and the United States Racing Association (USRA) are hosting the party that will begin at 11 a.m. The Daytona 500 takes the green flag at 1 p.m. Central Time. Justin is the youngest driver to ever win the NASCAR Regional ShorTrack championship title since its inception in 1998. The regional competition is part of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series that encompasses race tracks from all over the country. Justin is only 18 years old, and he dominated the NASCAR Sportsman Class at San Antonio Speedway during the 2004 season. Currently a senior at LaVernia High School, Justin has been racing stock cars longer than he’s had a driver’s license! The event will kick off with a live, two-hour broadcast of The Motorsports Zone radio show at the Firehouse Pub & Grill starting at 10 a.m. The Motorsports Zone is a weekly one-hour show broadcast on KVET-AM 1300 (Austin) and can be heard online at www.sportsradio1300.com. Justin will be showing his 1978 Chevrolet Camaro, along with car displays by his fellow drivers from San Antonio Speedway, Thunder Hill Raceway and USRA at the Daytona 500 Watch Party. Door prizes will also be given away during the event, and discount coupons will be available for the first two races at San Antonio Speedway. San Antonio Speedway is a NASCAR-sanctioned half-mile asphalt oval located at 14901 State Highway.16 South, about 3.5 miles outside of Loop 410.
