NickHolt
Before the 2004 Thunder Hill Raceway season got under way, track owners Brian Callaway and Jim Lynch promised a $15,000 point fund. As we all know, they were true to their word and passed out some very impressive checks at the THR banquet. $15,000 is way more than most short tracks put in their point funds. But I have yet to see one word written here (or anywhere else for that matter) thanking them for coming through as promised. On the other hand, can you imagine the uproar that would have followed if they had not paid as promised? It would have been Brian Bashaway and Jim Lynch-him-up for sure. Truck99
I thanked them in person at the banquet. But your correct, a more public show of appreciation was certainly in order. In addition, special thanks should go out to Kurt at A-Line auto parts and Mike Davis of 3D welding for the very nice additional awards.
