Gates will open at 10:00AM on each race date. There will be band entertainment and various exhibition events to entertain race fans. The inaugural race on March 26th is entitled ‘Kyle Community Flag Day’. It will be both a Kyle Community Appreciation Day as well as a ‘Patriotic Day’ honoring our US Military around the world with US Flags given to all fans.

Qualifying will take place at 11:00AM using a 2-Lap format with the fastest lap determining the order of qualifying. Only the ‘Top 20’ Fastest Qualifiers will run in the 150 Lap Race Event. The sanctioning for these race events is the Texas Super Racing Series – a premier series organized to create top competition on the short track racing circuit where competitive side-by-side racing is the norm not the exception.

Fans will be able to visit the drivers and cars on the race track after they are aligned for the start of the race so that they may take pictures and get driver autographs. At 3:00PM the announcement ‘Drivers Start Your Engines’ will be given and an exciting race event will be underway.

This is the initial development effort by TSAR to help grow the motorsports industry in the Austin/San Antonio area to an exciting level of racing enjoyment never before experienced. TSAR has partnered up with both ESPN radio and Time-Warner Television for media promotion and coverage for these ‘Big 5 Race Events’, including a ‘TSAR Motorsports Magazine Report’ to be broadcast in the week after the race event and showing the race highlights plus comments from various drivers, including the winner.

This media exposure is intended to introduce drivers and the race fan community to the exciting world of auto racing as a developing industry in the Austin/San Antonio market area – as well as to promote the numerous companies who support it with their sponsorships and other contributions. The objective of TSAR is to create a ‘bond’ between the companies supporting motorsports and the fans who enjoy it and want to see it grow. In auto racing that is called ‘Fan Loyalty 101’ – fans doing business with the companies who support the industry in their area.
