Just thought since there is so many different view points on this subject maybe everyone could give theirs, just to see what eveyone values in a set of rules. Basically it will be fill in the blanks.

The criteria will be a car that will be the least expensive to build and maintain, as well differntiating itself from the lower classes.

It also must be attractive enough for the lower class guys to feel like they can move up without a huge expense. This would mean that they could take some of their investment in parts with them.

Give a reason for your selection after every option. Remember to right a good set of rules for max car count DO NOT look at the parts that YOU already have, look at the parts that, the MOST people have.

Design your rules for the guy that has the least amount of money, because those with the most can definitely afford it. To do this car justice try not to design it to your advantage, remember make it attractive to the most people.

1.) Chassis type- stock frame, stock clip with tube frame(offset or perimeter), all tube rack style (offset/perimeter)

2.) Body Style- stock steel, aftermarket aluminum, fiberglass, steel, interior construction

3.) Engine combination, heads,intake, carb, ignition,rocker arms

4.) Transmission, clutch,bellhousing, driveshaft

5.)Overall car weight (remember power to weight=more bang for buck)

6.) Shocks springs etc.

Keep in mind that this car will be raced weekly and ease of maintenance and repair costs will keep car count higher.

BIGGER CAR COUNT=BIGGER SHOW=MORE FANS=MORE TRACK INCOME=BIGGER PURSES.

Slow down to go faster.
