He semi-retired four years ago, but as everybody who knew Bob, knows he was never without a project that he did not dedicate himself to. Whatever hobby he was into at the moment, (whether it was car racing, photography, hunting or most recently fishing), he completely dedicated his time and energy to it. Everywhere he went Bob made fast friends and those who knew him loved him for his frankness, his loyalty, and his sense of humor. He will be missed by all as he leaves a void that will never be filled by anyone. He was also an animal lover, never hesitating to stop along the road to rescue a stray dog. His latest pet friends, Lexie, Zoe, Ludwig, Missy and Garfield II are already missing him. His family would like to thank all the relatives and friends who waited and prayed at his bedside for his survival. Your support will always be remembered and appreciated. Thank you also to the hospital staff who were so compassionate when explaining all procedures to the family. The family would like to give thanks to a long time special friend, Leo Laughlin, for his dedication and assistance through this most difficult time. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with Rev.
