ARCA qualifying cancelled at Springfield due to wet track conditions

Qualifying cancelled at Springfield; shooting for 11 a.m. local central time practice; Live timing & scoring off all on-track and live audio coverage of the race

 

Due to wet track conditions from overnight rains delaying the start of Sunday’s on-track activities, ARCA Officials have cancelled Menards Pole Award Qualifying presented by Ansell for Sunday’s SuperChevyDealers.com 100.

 

Progress in making the track ready for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has been delayed by overcast and mist, but crews from the Illinois State Fairgrounds and Bob Sargent’s Track Enterprises continue to make progress. On-track activities for the day have been adjusted as follows:

 

11am or as soon as track is ready Sportsman Practice (20 minutes)

Following Sportsman Practice ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Practice (1 hour)

Following ARCA Practice Sportsman Feature (15 laps)

Following Sportsman Race SuperChevyStores.com 100

Live Timing and Scoring of all on-track activity, and there will be live audioi coverage of the race, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at ARCAracing.com
