2014 Racers Reunion Banquet Sept 27th

 

In just six short weeks race fans from across the nation will be in Irving Texas for the fifth annual Racers Reunion Banquet. It appears as if it is going to be a record attendance. Tickets are available now and seating is limited as we celebrate the rich history of Emmett Hahn and Blue Max Racing.

 

Emmett Hahn’s driving career featured five track championships and then he moved into promoting including the world famous Chili Bowl. He then launched the American Sprint Car Series, the ASCS, which today sanctions a national tour and regional series in every corner of the country.

Founded by Harry Schmidt, the Blue Max team rose to prominence with driver Raymond Beadle. Beadle won the NHRA Funny Car title in 1979, 80, and 81, and the IHRA Funny Car championship in 1975, 1976, and 1981.

We are honored to have in attendance this year both Emmett Hahn and Raymond Beadle along with many of their crew members.

The Racers Reunion features displays of vintage race cars and memorabilia, a model car contest, a silent auction, bench racing sessions with racing historians, an autograph session and a dinner in addition to the honored guest presentations. Ticket price is $35 per person.
