MAN Racing Promotions Announces 2nd Annual Awards/Recognition Banquet

By: Pat Mayberry

The top two late model touring series in Texas are joining together for a Texas sized celebration on Saturday, January 8, 2005 to honor their top drivers and teams. The TEXAS SUPER RACING SERIES - Late Models will be celebrating the conclusion of their second season and series champion, Brad Hudak and the ROMCO Super Late Models, (USRA), will be honoring their series champion, Bradley Riethmeyer along with a special fair well tribute to ROMCO Super Late Models Owner, Robert Mullins, now currently know as USRA, with the new owner being Terry Dickerson.

The evening will begin with dinner at 7:00 PM at the TEXAS EVENTS CENTER in Kyle, Texas. If you would like to attend the awards dinner and presentations, tickets are $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are free. B.Y.O.B set-ups will be available. The awards banquet presentations are free to the public.

Entertainment will be provided by the fabulous Waddell Brothers Band playing all the hits all night long after the award presentations are concluded. "One of our very own Drivers, Leland Waddell's band, this should rather exciting, as Leland is pretty exciting without a band." The TEXAS EVENTS CENTER is located at 24795 Interstate 35, Exit 210, Kyle, Texas 78640 directly in front of Thunder Hill Raceway. RV parking will be available by calling (512) 844-3582. Guests attending are asked to RSVP by January 3, 2005, at (512) 247-4041 or at maluvsracing@aol.com.

OK, the attire for this Saturday evening is ... it was supposed to say on the invitations, semi formal, but it got left off on the final print and I did not catch it. Lets say nice press jeans with a nice shirt & maybe a sports jacket or dress slacks with a nice shirt or even team uniform shirts, but you know what, wear what makes you comfortable and don't let the attire keep anyone from coming! It is going to be such a fun night with a great group of people attending, I had to increase our table count today, so don't miss out! B)

hopefully people can keep their hands to themselves and refrain from ripping off othere peoples clothing
Krusty, :P you only wish someone had pulled them off! LOL

I have received a couple of complaints about some of the posts in this thread so the more colorful of them have been removed.

I fully realize that this thread is all in good fun to those participating and that there is a thin line between good taste and bad, but some of the posts went over the line.

it's like we got the FCC on this site.  grow up people and dont take everything so serious.  gimme a break!

There are are lot more sites on the Internet where people can go to talk smak and all that stuff than there are sites where people can come to obtain fairly reliable information about racing in Texas and have civil discussions about racing. If TSZ is not what you are looking for all I can say is that I am sorry.
