Lone Star Legacy feature results, CTS, 6/14/2014

1. 19 Cole Runco, 20
2. 32 James Huff, 20
3. 10 Gabriel Fogg, 20
4. 1 Del Harris, 20
5. 5 Robert Dalimar, 17
6. 48 Matt Yevcak, 3

7. 04 Allen Sampson, 20 DQ (finished 3rd, but left side weight was over the limit)

We welcomed Matt Yevcak and Robert Dalimar to the series and were glad to see Del Harris back in competition. Colin Bellino was on vacation in California with his family and Dillon Sampson was unable to make this event.

James Huff started on the pole and led until he picked up a push towards the end. Cole Runco then chased him down and passed cleanly to take the win. Dillon Sampson and Gabriel Fogg were right there at the checkered with Gabriel giving Sampson all he could handle in the battle for third.

The only yellow was for minor contact in turn two between Del Harris and Allen Sampson after Del Harris got a bit sideways coming off the turn. The contact turned Harris around and the yellow came out. The rest of the 20 laps were clean and green and fun to watch as all four cars up front were gunning for the win.

The four who ran at the front for the entire race were very evenly matched. Here are their best lap times:

Gabriel Fogg, 17.388

James Huff, 17.402

Dillon Sampson, 17.405

Cole Runco, 17.413
