NickHolt Posted June 10, 2014 Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 With graduations, band concerts, etc, behind us, we're looking forward to racing at Central Texas Speedway this Saturday. Last time out, CTS fans enjoyed a three-car battle for the checkered - at times going three-wide! Not a scratch on anyone's car. We have heard from several that there are Legacys being purchased and others being prepared, so we're looking forward to growing the series over time. One of the hurdles we are facing is getting all the Legacys back on an even playing field. As the original Allison series started to fall apart a few years back, several of the cars were converted to road course racing and a few others were "upgraded" for one reason or other. James Huff and Bob Riley have extensive knowledge and background with the Legacys and are working together to get all the Legacys on the same page. Not as easy as it sounds, but that's the plan and we're sticking to it! Just a reminder: James has quite a collection of legal rims and last year's Goodyear tires for anyone needing some.
