I want to take a second to thank Shady Oaks Speedway and its management for allowing us to bring the South Texas Street Stock Shootout not once but twice this year. Our shootout just recently had a very successful banquet awarding our Top 20 drivers. So far from this offseasons responses and interests it will be far and away our most interesting season yet. The street stock class is growing. More new cars have been built or are being built this offseason then any other year since the shootout has started. We are drawing cars from outside our region which include the Houston and Dallas areas. We love the package we have put together this year for the drivers which includes our very own traveling officiating team, tech and announcer! We are filling up our individual race sponsorships and have a few still available for Race #4 on July 12th. Let us know if anyone is interested. Thanks and look forward to having two awesome shows.
