jwmbishop Posted February 21, 2014 Report Share Posted February 21, 2014 Wednesday night it did not look good for Swan Racing and Driver Cole Whitt. With both cars wrecked in practice and only one backup car the decision was made to repair Coles car - and the crew worked all night\morning to get it ready for the duals. Cole raced his way into the 500 in the same type of drama created in every Saturday night short track thrash session for a heat raced main event. Cole is the son of an old friend of mine - Tobin "the green dinosaur" Whitt (he drove a green super powered by a BBC when everyone else was running SBC). Many a thrash session put Tobin into the main event at Cajon Speedway. Seeing swan pull that off was very exciting to say the least - I am sure Tobin is very proud!!!
