jwmbishop Posted February 20, 2014 Report Share Posted February 20, 2014 The 2701 will give better response under 3500RPM, has a torque peak at around 3500 and you can expect it to be "all done" as far as torque increasing by around 5000RPM. The 7101 will feel "mushy" from idle to around 2000, give better response from 3500 to 6500, torque peak would be around 4300 and will be making good torque all the way to 6500RPM. If apex RPM is over 3000 I would recommend the 7101. On a street machine or apex RPM less than 3000 I would recommend the 2701. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
