Wayne Walker Posted November 9, 2013 Report Share Posted November 9, 2013 That has nothing to do with it. The moisture is too deep. It takes time to dry it out. And the track needs to be turned, dried, and packed. That won't happen when it rains during the week on saturated ground. They have had good tracks in the past, before the rain. It can get back that way but it takes work and time. Racing every week rather than fixing the problem is not the answer. Let them fix it and be ready for some good racing. Not only for the work that needs to be done to the track but it also is currently raining in the Bastrop area this morning.... would have been a really wet track tonight if we would have been running......
