sosrs Posted October 29, 2013 Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 The 2013 season ended with a really big night of racing. The owners of SOS would like to thank everyone that was there. Eric and Gina were outstanding in the announcing booth. They also put in many hours helping with parades, sponsorship, pictures and what a fantastic job Gina has done with our Facebook. Also a big thank you to the drivers that participated in the parades and helped us with sponsorship for this race. Because of your efforts the night was a big success. To our staff of volunteers that worked so hard all year we want you to know how much we appreciate your efforts. Ous scorers have their hands full every race and we wish we could get you a system that would help but since we can't thank you for doing the best job you can of following all those cars lap after lap. Our concession staff worked endlessly to prepare food and try to keep the lines moving. Kenny Kunkel and Shorty Migura can not be thanked enough for the time spent preparing the tracks. Becky Knight and her staff in the office are probably the best of all the tracks in the area. Lineups and results are put out as quickly as results are received from the scorers and purses are ready to be picked up within 30 minutes of the end of a race. To the drivers that raced this season at SOS and their families a special thank you for being there every week. We look forward to seeing you all back for the 2014 season. tuskhunter Posted October 29, 2013 Report Share Posted October 29, 2013 I would like to thank everyone that has anything to do with keeping the track running smoothly and open from the track prep crews, concessions stand girls , volunteers, tech men , office girls and anyone else that helps keep things going.
