SASSept6and7Schedule.pdf We will open the pit gates at 12:00P (noon) on Friday (Sept. 6) and at 11:00A on Saturday (Sept. 7). Grandstand gates will open at 3:00P and races will start at 7:00P on both days. Following scheduled practice sessions throughout the day, Friday night's events will include qualifying for the Pro Late Models and Modifieds, heat races for the Trucks, Street Stocks, Tator Plumbing Chargers and the Jenn's Beer, Wine & Spirits Grand Stocks. The Texas Asphalt Limited Modifieds Series (TALMS) will also have a short (15-minute) practice session. Saturday night's schedule includes qualifying for the TALMS and the Texas Pro Sedans (TPS) and feature races by all classes. Welcome to this new SAS sponsor! TEXAS STOCK CAR SPECTACULAR RACE ENTRY Deadline - August 26 Shown below is a link to the Texas Stock Car Spectacular Race Entry form. The deadline is MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2013 (postmark date). Drivers only have ten (10) more days to enter the race without paying an additional late fee (entry fee plus additional late fee of $50 for Pro Late Models, Modifieds and Trucks and $25 for all other classes). OPEN PRACTICE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 31 We'll be having an Open Practice at San Antonio Speedway on Saturday, August 31, from 10A until dark. The charge to practice is $50 per car and driver. We will not be charging admission for anyone who comes out to the pits and grandstands to watch the practice sessions. However, anyone who enters the pit area must sign the insurance waiver form. So, please find us in the pits to sign the form if we don't find you first!
