TRP Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2013 I want to have a tribute this weekend to Jim, the previous owner of Shady Oaks Speedway. We lost a great man and a great promoter of the sport of dirt track racing. It was a dream of his, as it is a dream of mine to keep dirt track racing alive in the local area. Jim always made a point to see me at my track as he supported me and my venture as I did and still do with SOS. Thank you Jim for all you did and run for those checkered flags in the sky.
