Street stock drivers from all over South Texas will come together to put their skills to the test. Each track that participates in the shootout offers different challenges to the drivers and is a true test of driving skills as you leave your home track to experience the other tracks. SOS hosted 39 cars last year and will hope to do the same or better this year. SOS will pay all drivers that participate in the shootout. The feature consist of 24 cars with the purse set by the series promoter. SOS will pay all non-qualifiers $40.00 and we are working on plans for a non-qualifier race. This format will be determined by the number of cars participating in the shootout. This is a non-points race for street stocks. Points racing on May 11 will be Limited Mods, Pure Stocks and Dwarfs. Overnight camping is allowed at the track. Goliad motels offering discounts are Best Western Plus and Antlers Inn PLEASE NO GLASS BOTTLES ON THE PROPERTY PAYOUT NIGHT OF THE RACE ONLY. IF YOU DO NOT PICK UP YOUR PURSE MONEY IT WILL BE FORFEITED. Test and Tune May 10th from 6pm to 10pm. All classes may participate. Concession stand will be open Admission: $20.00 per person 13-100, $10.00 children 6-12, children 5 and under no charge. SEE YA AT THE RACE!!!!
