Hagy finished 6th on the lead lap in the PLM feature at New Smryna. Solid run coming from the rear of the field after a spin in qualifying. The last time he ran this track was in a Mario Fiore Whelen Modified back when he still sported the mullet.

Going forward at Speedweeks, It is possible that you will see Jared Fryar in Hagy's car a few nights down at New Smryna. Jared is Marc Fryar's son, Freddy's grandson.

Hagy started on the pole Saturday night, based on his Friday finish and a 6 car inversion.

He ran in the top 5 most of the race before a eventual 8th place finish.

Jared Fryar will pilot the car tonight, but will have to start from the rear due to the driver change.

The World Series resumed this evening at New Smryna Speedway, with Jared Fryar in George Hagy's car for the third night. The first night on Sunday, he had to start on the rear, and came to 11th place. Monday night he started 11th and finished 9th.

After taking off last evening, they returned tonight, and saw Jared start second and take the point on the start. He ended up leading the entire event.

Jared is the son of Marc Fryar, and the grandson of the legendary Freddy Fryar. Before they left San Antonio for Florida, they had planned to have Fryar in the car for several nights.

Great run for the team.
