smithracer11
Like the title says would it be a good class? Run it like a limited modified class, use a 602 crate with a box stock 4 barrel carb? I would like to see a economical modified class like this. hray
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are surely not referring to the Tour Modifieds that run in the NE?

Not for a good, up-to-date one with IFS, lite weight QC, clutchless trans, etc. They're more expensive than a ProMod and the tires (10")and shocks (they run adjustible alum like the super lates) are way more expensive. Plus, if you change the rules to only allow the older out-of-date ones, you've got another TSRS type series that can only run here. I vote NAY! Now, if you want to run the ProMods on 10" slicks, I'm with ya.
