NickHolt Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 TPS in 8th annual THR “Stock Car Spectacular” on September 25 San Antonio, Texas -- The Texas Pro Sedans will hold the next to last 2004 race in their 29th consecutive season at Thunder Hill Raceway on Saturday night September 25. The event will be one of the seven touring series only feature races in the “Eighth Annual Thunder Hill Raceway Stock Car Spectacular”. The TPS event will consist of 2 Qualifying Time Trial laps at 4:30pm and a 30 Lap Feature Race, the third main event of the race program, which will take the green flag at approximately 7:00pm. A field of 24 drivers have filed entry. Included in the race entry list are the three drivers who have won all of the previous 2004 TPS races. All three have also led the TPS Championship Point standings chase during the 2004 Texas Pro Sedans racing season: * Donnie Moore of Hutto in the George Merrell #70 VW Scirocco (5 wins, leads TPS points). * Bill LaBarge of Bryan, Texas in the #27 BMW (3 wins, holds THR record, 17 points out of lead). * Lalo Leal from Corpus Christi, driving his #26 Ford Mustang (2 wins, 3rd place in TPS points). A Feature Race only program of Allison Legacy, Texas Asphalt Modifieds, Texas Pro Sedans, ROMCO Super Late Model, All Star RaceTrucks, Texas Super Racing Series and Texas Dwarf Car Association feature races are scheduled for the annual Thunder Hill Raceway Stock Car Spectacular special racing event at the 3/8 mile asphalt track in Kyle, Texas.
