NeilTPS Posted September 19, 2004 Report Share Posted September 19, 2004 Final 2004 Points Races at I-37 Speedway – Friday Sept 24 Pleasanton, Texas - This Friday night at I-37 Speedway will be the final racing event in which Championship Points are available to competitors in each class. The track champions will be presented to spectators at the end of the Feature Races. After the September 24th race, I-37 Speedway will take a few weeks off until November at which time, a series of winter special events will then be held. On Friday, September 24, Gates open at 4:00pm. The racing program starts at 8:30pm as I-37 Speedway will present: IMCA Modifieds…Limited Late Models…Super Stocks…Pure Stocks and in addition - ATV Races and Bicycle Races will be presented Note: The DESTRUCTION DERBY postponed last week due to wet grounds has been canceled. Heat and Feature Races will be held for each classification. I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway.
