texana55
Count down to October 6th at South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi. A short two weeks away to get things tuned back up. We have GW's Automotive Service sponsoring the two B Main Winners. However, we do not have specific sponsors aligned for the Pole Sitter Award or the Hard Charger award. Please send me a message if someone would like the naming rights for each of those awards at the STS event on October 6th.

texana55
The 2012 Allgayer, Inc. South Texas Street Stock Shootout is geared up for South Texas Speedway, this Saturday, October 6th. The points battle is heating up as the series heads into the home stretch. Current points leader AJ Dancer is followed closely by Wade Jones, Stephan Danielsen and Brian King. The top four in points represent three different tracks, with Dancer and Danielsen both running Cottonbowl rules, Jones running I-37 rules and King under Shady Oaks Speedway rules. Also notable is STS's own David McGuire who is in the top 15 of the 54 competitors. McGuire has had a strong showing with the series this year, with an especially strong showing at the I-37 event. The series is looking forward to bringing the show to Corpus Christi at South Texas Speedway and enjoying a little fellowship after the races at the Turn 5 Bar. texana55
We are excited and ready. Unfortunately we will miss practice as the girl has to work Friday evening, but should be loaded and ready to rock come Saturday morning. Love that track. One of the funnest we've ever raced on... See everyone Saturday.
