texana55
Stephan will calculate and update points and post within a couple of days. A few more cautions in the feature that normally seen for our group, but the track began changing during the feature and that may have caught some by surprise adjusting to the changing conditions. Lots of good racing action throughout the field in the feature, B Mains, and heats. The action in the top 6 of the feature was very good as there was potential for those six to change at any minute as close as they were the entire race, and it did in fact change several times in the last five to six laps. As I always need to do, I want to thank a few folks. Thank you to Shady Oaks Speedway and the Stacy family for hosting the event and going above expectations with the non-qualifier money. Thank you to the fans that came out to watch the show. Thank you to the folks who help with the series. Thank you to anyone I may miss. And, thank you drivers for driving from various long distances to attend the event!!! 39 cars showing up to do a little racing ain't no small thing! On a very personal and heartfelt note, I want to give a big shout out to my daughter for making her old man so proud with her driving. Great job all night long Lauren! During the heat race and again in the feature, I thought my heart was gonna pound out of my chest. I was just glad there was an ambulance very close by our trailer if I needed it... lol.
