thumper Posted August 23, 2012 Report Share Posted August 23, 2012 Just a reminder South Texas Speedways Sport Compact class will be racing Sat and Sunday for Labor day weekend.The invite is still on for any mini,frontrunner,thunder car,hornet etc to be a part of the show as is.Or use the SC rules to upgrade.Stock engines.Relaxed rules for now. This is not restricted to new drivers,a modified,late model,sprint car,legacy or any other driver can also borrow a car and race too.Its funny how a lot of V8 drivers underestimate the skill level needed to piolet an underpowered car at the speed we run. Right now we have I believe the greatest split in drivers age,from 12 to 62.I found this class to be perfect for oldtimer racers who thought they were too old to race anymore.Their experience equalizes the energy of the younger drivers.So theres a place for everyone. 2 day show Labor day weekend.Other classes racing too.If you cant race come and watch the hardest fought battles on a super fast challanging track along with a packed house.You will not see better racing anywhere.Not a tea totaller event.
