RETrott
Don Mercer Myers Sr was one of the original competitors in the first full season for the ever popular and competitive Bronco (Sportsman) Stock Cars that began at Meyer Speedway/Houston in 1963. He also raced in the Bronco class in '64 and '65, and then competed in the Late Model events in '66. Don was also the owner/crewchief during the '70s, for driver Don Myers Jr in the Bronco (Hobby) Stock Car class. Don passed away on Sunday, 8/5/2012. A son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great-grandfather, an uncle, and our brother-in-law for over fifty five years, Don will be missed.
