NeilTPS Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 Mechanics to Race at I-37 Speedway – Friday Sept 3 Pleasanton, Texas - Friday night, I-37 Speedway will feature a novelty event for kids on September 3. Races feature all of the four regular classes – plus a Feature Race for Mechanics. On Friday, September 3, Gates open at 4:00pm. The racing program starts with “Kids Rides in Race Cars” at 8:00pm. The racing program starts at 8:30pm and during the intermission, “Kids Bike Races” as this week, I-37 Speedway presents: IMCA Modifieds…Limited Late Model…Super Stocks…Pure Stocks Plus – The Texas Winged Outlaw Modifieds Plus – Mechanics will race to determine who is the “Top Wrench”. Heat and Feature Races will be held for each class and a Mechanics Feature race. I-37 Speedway is a quarter mile oval dirt track located on the east side I-37 exactly 30 miles south of the Interstate 37 and Loop 410 interchange. Racing fans from San Antonio, Corpus Christi and other South Texas areas should take exit # 104 (Leal Road) proceed south on the east frontage road and follow the signs to I-37 Speedway.
