I was only about eight, when my mom was working in Houston and rented a house from Leon, probably 1969. It was right around the corner from Leon's shop, and it didn't take long for me to find the shop on my bike and become his new pain in the ass/hang around. Spent plenty of time sitting in A.J.'s dirt cars going "varoom, varoom". I won plenty of features sitting in his shop! Can't remember where it was, seems like it was somewhere just off the north loop. I believe Leon and his son were killed in an airplane crash.
