NEWS RELEASE -- Texas Pro Sedans at C.C. Motor Speedway September 4

San Antonio, Texas - The Texas Pro Sedans touring series will visit C.C. Motor Speedway for their final 2004

race at C.C. Motor Speedway on Saturday night, September 4th. The Texas Pro Sedans will be contesting their tenth season race at the quarter mile Corpus Christi asphalt track.

Lalo Leal of Corpus Christi won the first and second races on May 29 and July 31.

The Texas Pro Sedans event will consist of 2 laps of Qualifying Time Trials, a 10-15 lap, Last Chance Qualifying Race (if needed) and a 30 Lap Feature Race. The race will be run under TPS rules and procedures in which yellow flag laps are not scored. A green-white-checkered flag is required to officially finish a TPS race under full racing conditions.

Texas Pro Sedans Series Race and Administrative Director, Neil Upchurch has announced that he expects a pre-entry list of about 20 Texas Pro Sedans at the track. Included in the race entry list are the three drivers who have shared the winners circle in all of the TPS races during the 2004 season. They have all led or shared the series lead in Championship Point standings during the first three quarters of the season:

> Donnie Moore of Hutto driving a VW Scirocco has won four of nine races. Moore was 1990 TPS Champion and currently leads Bill LaBarge by one point for the 2004 TPS Driver’s Title.

> Bill LaBarge of Bryan owns and drives a BMW. He is the only five time TPS Champion in its 29 year history. He resides in second place by one point in the TPS Championship Points chase. He has won three of the nine races.

> Lalo Leal of Corpus Christi was victorious in both 2004 TPS races at C.C. Motor Speedway. He will again drive his Ford Mustang. He is third in point ranking, 34 markers behind first.

A complete program of C.C. Motor Speedway Super Street and Bomber Division racing and an appearance by the Allison Legacy Series is also scheduled on the September 4th racing program.
