texana55 Posted May 23, 2012 Report Share Posted May 23, 2012 As you know, we have a minimum purse commitment from each track which starts with $400 to win and works down to $75 for 24th. That is the minimum commitment from each track in the 5 race series. And, any track has the option to increase the purse if they desire. We are pleased to announce that Texana Raceway Park is adding additional money to all 24 places above the minimum commitment starting with $500 to win and $100 to start the A-Main on July 14th. The Texana Raceway Park event purse for the Allgayer, Inc. South Texas Street Stock Shootout will be as follows: 1st - $500 2nd - $300 3rd - $275 4th - $250 5th - $225 6th - $125 7th - $125 8th - $125 9th thru 24th - $100 This is an addittional $975 added into the purse by the track owner. Remember, each competitor must be registered with the series to compete and that can be done with $40 for the entire series or $20 for a one time run.
